Goats are for devil worshiping and hexes you nasty fvcker. Offer it to your diety and go get a big mac. I thought this was limited to haiti, PR, and the sea islands of SC.

Actually you are an idiot. Mutton is not goat it is sheep (yes they are related). Now that we have that out of the way yes people eat goat. If you were so damn smart your google search would have been for chevon or cabrito. Most recipes are for jerked and originate from places with voodoo religion (Jamaica, Haiti, etc although there are other markets having nothing to do with voodoo.). This is also common on the sea islands of SC where a lot of African traditions are still practiced. This is where Glenn was (or close; Charleston) if I remember correctly when I sent him a CD. Now tell me again how obvious it is.

Most of the folks coming over to eat happen to be Evangelical Christians.
Of the few that aren't are a couple of angnostics, a few atheists, and a couple of Anglican Priests.

Do you have an actual source for your absurd claim that only voodoo worshippers eat goat? I ask because I see it all the time in indian restaurants, and work with many indians who say it is more common than lamb in some regions of india. I also know that some pakistani recipes call for goat.

Goat is very similar to lamb in taste, BTW.

It's also pretty popular in Mexico, btw.

My mom farms dairy goats and a lot of her bucks go to eatin'

We've had a couple of goat roasts for the family, but it's more trouble thatn it's worth... So many white-breads have a problem eating it that it's just a waste.

You oughta order pizza Glen. It will be more popular.

My friends are fairly cultured, all have been to Africa, and they have eaten goat before.

My family are fairly uncultured and the furthest out of the holler most have been is to my mom's farm in Arkansas. This may explain it.

Huh?

You're right i'm the idiot on the mutton account, but that's pointless since
you seem to be disgusted by the notion of eatting goat. Also, I'm indian, so
why would I have pointed out jerk recipes?

Nevermind I thought being in SC you might get it. It was a joke. Eat what you want.

Google has plenty. Find in this page "Goat". and I never said only other than my initial statement and that was a joke.

but that's pointless since you seem to be disgusted by the notion of eatting goat.
