looking for wireless / cordless keyboard

It's time for a new keyboard, and I'm hoping to go wireless. There's just so many out there, and i've never shopped for a keyboard before. Any recommendations on a really good one? I havent' decided about a wireless mouse yet, since i know they eat batters like crazy, and I'm fond of the trackman I have anyway. What I'm really hoping for is a wireless keyboard that is rechargable like the mouse on the logitech mx3100 cause that sould save on the batteries. Do they make those? Any links/comments would be appreciated.

My microsoft Wireless desktop elite keyboard runs on 3 AA batteries and generally holds up to about 4-6 months of use and I use my computer everyday and fairly often. I dont know about battery life on Logitech wireless keyboards but I'm sure it's similar

EDIT: I'm assuming you'll be gaming with this, it's not the best gaming solution, not the worst either.

awesome, thanks for the info....still not sure about the mice though....dunno if i want a bundle cause i'm so used to a trackball, and to me wireless freedom doesn't include being required to use your mouse on a flat surface. wonder what the battery life is on the logictech trackman wheel...

well, after looking into some of the combos (on newegg, mainly...) looks like the MX3100 is the way to go. People seem to hate the MX5000 due to its bluetooth connectivity. Any input on this?

I have the MX 5000 and I 'm coming from a MS elite. I hate the lag on the blue tooth. I have the blue tooth USE thing right near my computer and it still lags, Sometimes. IN games it will lag bad if you don;t have gaming mode on, not sure what this does but helps with lag. I woudl say get the MX 3100

that's what i've been hearing from most. I like the idea of bluetooth, but I didn't realize that it requires an "always on" connection from the keyboard, and therefore lages almost all the time.

I hear the Logitech G7 is a good wireless mouse. As for a keyboard, it depends on what you're gonna use it for, if you're gonna use this thing for gaming I suggest you stay away from wireless for now.

I do some gaming, but it's mostly FFXI, which isn't really control intensive. I just need a wireless solution for allaround computer usage.
