I recently read somewhere that there was a tweak to force windows to execute startup files (after the desktop appears) sequentially rather than concurrently.
Running the files sequentially is supposed to reduce disk accesses and reduce the overall startup time (assuming your hard disk is defragmented).
I forgot where I saw this and how it was done and was wondering if anybody has heard/tried it out.
