I bought WHS last year or the year before, to build a server with. It is the OEM version, in a white rectangular cardboard box, and says "URP1" on it, which is update 1.
The current version is update 3, which fixes some issues.
I suppose I could install it, and then update it to 3. But something tells me I should get the discs that already contain update 3, which should be less hassle should I ever need to perform a server re-installation.
I was thinking of purchasing a new copy from Newegg with update 3, and then selling off my unopened copy of update 1. But rather than lose money, is there anywhere I can download an ISO of update 3 version, and just use my update 1 version key? Will that work?
Preferably from legit sources, or perhaps someone with an official copy of the update 3 version would make me an ISO?
I'm not asking for a key, I already have one, just the install media, which I understand is legal if you already have a license.
Edit: MS has an Eval version of WHS PPK3 available:

Would this work, and would I be able to activate with a retail key?
Edit: According to this, that is not possible:

I found some other links, about converting the Eval version to OEM, and something about a multi-OEM and OEMBIOS files, but it seemed like a way to pir8 the OS, so that was unhelpful. I already own a copy, I just want updated install media.
Edit: Just musing, but MS should allow owners of legit versions of their software, to download ISO images of their updated version installers, by going to a web site and punching in the product key included with the license. There's no excuse for them not doing this. Instead, they require you to order a physical DVD from them, and that sort of updated media fullfillment is only applicable to retail-packaged software, and WHS is only sold OEM.

Uninstall notice: The Windows Home Server Evaluation Edition expires 30 days after installation, if activated. Please refer to the product documentation before installing the fully licensed version of Windows Home Server.
