Looking for video of Nick Saban interview with him denying the Alabama job

Just watch ESPN News. They seem to have it up at the top of every half-hour.

Ha, yeah I know, I'm trying to capture the video of it though so I can manipulate it a little.

what does it matter? EVERY coach denies he's leaving before bolting....especially NFL coaches since they can't discuss anything until after the regular season per NFL rules

True. I remember Tubberville saying the only way he'd leave Ole Miss would be in a pine box. Franchione telling Alabama players to "hold the rope" while he was secretly talking with Texas A&M.

Mora Jr. in Atlanta is an example of what happens to any coach that talks about another position DURING the season.

Oh I'm not jumping on his case for bolting, who can blame him for wanting to go back to college while still getting an NFL-sized contract? I just think the "dot-com" reference was funny and has potential.

They should just say, 'no comment', or 'i'm not going to talk about these rumors, lets just talk about the upcoming game' or something. If you say you're not going to take the job and then take the job later, it makes you look like a total scumbag.

Well, if you want some more quotes, Saban's press conference in Tuscaloosa is about to start.

Best part of this is that Saban was one of the coaches to send a letter to the NCAA to get bama on probation. Amazes me how quickly that's forgotten...

ESPN flashed something on screen that is pretty interesting.
They showed a list of the highest paid coaches in college football.

Nick Saben
Pete Carroll
Charlie Weis
...
...
...
Bob Stoops

It appears the top three are former NFL coaches. The irony is, "Money talks"..
The price that colleges will pay to lure coaches back into the college ranks is growing rapidly.

That was what....6-7 years ago? How is that "quick"? Everyone at Alabama that involved in that mess is loooong gone.

My point is that bama fans direct hatred toward the UT coach when 3 guys rumored to take the UAT coaching job (Spurrier, Nutt, Saban) were also in on putting them away. Don't kid yourself in thinking many don't still think it was a conspiracy. Like I said before, bama is doing to Saban what they do for recruits, offer him so much $$ he can't say no.

The reason there is so much hatred toward UT is because Fulmer and UT cronies/boosters were directly involved. He did much more than write letters. He was the "Secret Witness" and basically cut a deal with the NCAA that he would help them get Bama if they turned a blind eye towards UT's academic and other scandals. He also wasn't above slinging everything against the wall hoping it would stick...including a false accusation that a Bama coach was sleeping with a recruit's mother.

Haha....Saban's response to a question about LSU and the Sugar Bowl, "Yeah, those players that won the Sugar Bowl last night were recruited by me."

Like I said, the conspiracy theory is alive and well in bama land.

Errr...the above does not go into conspiracy theory territory. When the NCAA documents into the Alabama investigation was released...everything above (with the exception of the deal) was confirmed in those documents. I bring up the deal because that is the rumored explanation from many quarters (not just Alabama) on how UT skated on its many academic scandals and how the NCAA ruled on a booster paying Tee Martin money wasn't really a booster despite the fact that she was a UT grad and had season tickets to UT football games.
