I am unfortunate because I tend to sweat alot and my armpits are soaked by the time I get to my classes. I have *always* had this problem and have yet to find a strong enough deoderant to help me out. The best so far has been speed stick and Hi-Dri, but even they don't cut it. The absoulte worst I have ever tried was Degree.

P.S. It has always been deoderant sticks, never tried spray but I doubt it would help.

Old Spice High Endurance works pretty well.

Mitchum's Cool Dry Hydrosolid. I had the same problem in high school and I've had no problems since with this.

i used to use old spice, but lately, it irritates my pits. I use speed stick and apply it a few times a day.

Yea, listen to jadinolf, you need antiperspirant if your problem is sweating a lot. If you just apply deodorant, it'll rid the odor more than keep you from sweating so much. Try a deodorant/anti-perspirant stick. Old Spice works really well for me. I also sweat a load.

I used to have this problem too. I got this stuff that was in a small bottle and it was liquid roll on stuff. I didn't think it would work at all, but it worked great. After I quit using it, I didn't have the problem anymore. I'll see if I can find it laying around to let you know what its called.

edit: I couldn't find it but I'm pretty sure it was called Certain-Dri.

Found a link rating it. It's seriously good stuff.
