Alright right now I have a generic motherboard from an ASUS computer that could have been bought at Walmart. I am looking to keep my cpu and get a new motherboard, gpu and ram in hopes that I can play some if not all of the games coming out in the next year that I want to. Right now I am running an AMD Athlon II X4 645 "Propus" core, socket AM3 (938) it is from the F family, currently running 3.1ghz. I am looking to upgrade the motherboard in hopes of maybe cranking this little cpu up a little bit. So here are my questions, what would be a good motherboard for overclocking this processor? Looking for suggestions for overclocking with both air and H2o cooling. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Dont bother I say. A new intel 1155 system is pretty cheap these days. Why waste money on old stuff for a super slow and outdated cpu. :p

Alright, then what cpu and motherboard combo do you guys suggest as far as intel 1155 goes? I have always been an AMD guy and never really bothered reading too much on the Intel chips. So help here would be great.

P.s- As far as price goes I want a system that is not EXPENSIVE but will be able to play the games that are out such as Kingdoms of Amalur, Skyrim and Diablo 3 when it comes out.
