Looking for updatable calender for website

Has anyone seen any sort of calender for a website (javascript, java, CGI, ISAPI, etc...) that I could insert into a webpage which will display a calender and allow someone to click on a day and enter comments.

If not, I would be happy if there were a form on the bottom where I could enter a date and an event, and then when submitted, it would show on the calender.

I could be dreaming, but hoping something like that exists.

That is sort of what I am seeking, but looking for a 'free' solution and one that will work on windows, but preferably a non-platform dependant one, so if I move from WIN2003/IIS --> Linux FD2/Apache, all will work smoothly.

Atleast you have given me hope that there is such a program out there.
