Looking for ultracompact, simple camera

My uncle is looking for a new digital camera. He wants it simple, to use small, and high quality. Thinking about one with a docking cradle for added simplicity. Price is not an issue as long as it is less than $1000. Optical zoom is necessary.

Id go with the canon elph series(s410/s500) or even the Sony T1. Digital cameras are pretty simple anyways. You put it in auto and point and shoot.

You can also get a dock with this camera. Sony is pretty simple to use.
