Looking for TV reviews!

Has anyone here tried both the Toshiba and the Philips


Both are about the same price and i was wondering if anyone could help me choose between the two!

If price is important check out that Phillips at Circuit City... they have it for $269. I think there is better then the Phillips but not for that price. Personally I like JVC also, my g/f just bought a 32" and it's a JVC and she loves it.

unfortunately (atleast in this instance 😛) i am in canada. So i cant get all the good deals that are available in US. But i can get both the above TVs for about US$250 (open boxes) and i was wondering which one to go with!

Try Apex at Costco. Not a nice brand, but really good value and a good picture.

i have that Toshiba, its a nice, nothing amazing though. just buy one?

Just bought one. Went with Toshiba. It was on ebay. And interstingly the guy i out bid went ahead and bought the philips! (both went for US$252).

Hehe i wonder who got the better deal 😛

We have a apex, I'd wish we had shelled out a extra 70 for the toshiba or samsung. I would reccomend samsung to any one.

i just picked up that same toshiba last weekend. so far it's great. a little light on the menu options, but great picture, and 16:9 mode is awesome for dvds and the xbox.
