I know I read a thread about case modding with Tin Snips (i.e. if you invest n a quality pair of snips by a certain brand (darned if I can remember) you can mod VERY easy instead of dremeling large sections). Anyone know where it is. It also contained a link on how to make virtually perfect holes for fans and such with no need for dremeling or anything. I've searched and can't find it. Thanks for the help! If I find it before someone else, I'll post it here.

I think someone here posted the link to another mod forum that the thread was in. Darn, wish I could find it. Thanks for the help!

I do all my holes with tin snips. Don't know what they are. It has WISS and M3 stamped into the steel. They have a yellow handle. My dad a few pairs in his shop, so I borrowed one. Just used to cut 3 pennies in half at same time to see how thick they could cut ( took no effort at all ). If you use tin snips I recommened you have some files handy, cause they leave quite rough edges. I just mark it out, drill a hole, cut out with snips, finish with a file. Got a set a files cheap that have round, triangle, oval, square, and flat files (was like $10 Canadian) and they are perfect for modding.

Man I wish I'd bookmarked that thread. I think they were WISS. But I don't think they were the yellow handled ones. They were the right and left handed ones (Red and Green?). But it also had a nice tutorial on how to cut super clean circles very easily with snips. It was a whole long thread on don't get the cheap snips, spend the dough on WISS snips. Ah! Maybe I'll search for WISS.

EDIT: Triple w00t!!
