The Radio Shack part number is276-1372, costs about $6 for a tube that does at least 30 CPU's.

Yes, radioshack has the small 6.5g tube of compound. It is not bad stuff, but it is not top of the line either. It works fine on P3s and celerons, at least i've used it, but it is a bit thick.

and last I check, it was only $2.99 a tube -- which is enough to do 25+ processors

Get the good stuff!
Here's how to get some good Thermal compound for free. Go to the Hot Deals Forum and do an easy search for "Chemtronics". Fill out ther survey (gotta sound like a real company) and get 3 products for free. worked for me. The retail price for the Chemtronics Circuit Works Silver Conductive Thermal coumpound is $19, I think.
