Looking for the perfect HD

Ok so i already got a raptor in my computer but im starting to fill it up with music and dvds so im looking for a nice big cheap HD for all of my storage needs and i would like your help. I dont care about speed to much but it would be nice same with the noise level being low but as my comp is already loud it doesnt have to be uber quiet. So i started looking at newegg and i heard that seagate drives were really good and i like the 5 year warrenty so i came up with this drive http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822148065 its 250 gb for 130$ but its oem. So just to make sure the seagate oem drives still have the 5 year warrenty right? also what else do i need for a oem drive such as cables and software and how much/little do those cost. If anyone else has a better drive for the price or saying that this is a good pick please help.

You will need an SATA cable, unless Newegg gives you one in the package.

They still have a five year warranty. You don't need anything else for a new hard drive.

Yeah, that looks like a pretty good drive. However, you can get a Maxtor MaXLine III for $8 more and double the cache from 8MB to 16MB. That might speed things up a bit.

Got the 300GB version, and it serves as a storage drive as well, but it's not that speedy.

Yeah, usually your mobo should provide some extra SATA cables, but if not, you can either

get some from your neighborhood computer shop or order it online, and they don't cost that much at all.

Thanks for the advice, im not really concerend about speed but if the maxtor is of the same quality as the seagate one then it would be nice, so what does anyone have to say about the quality of maxtor drives?
