Looking for the name of an old SNES baseball game

mugs

Lifer
- I believe it was not MLB licensed
- The players did not have lifelike proportions. There were like Final Fantasy I-IV characters or the players from Ice Hockey on NES. I think they had particularly large heads.
- I believe the game box or label had two teams on it, one was green and one was blue

Not Super Babeball 2020, was it? I know it is a Neo-Geo game, but it was released by Tradewest on the SNES later.

Possibly Super Bases Loaded?

EDIT: Actually, probably not the latter, I think the players had normal proportions in that one.

No and no. I did own Super Baseball Simulator 1.000 though. Good game. It was about as far from a simulator as you can get though.

Baseball Stars. Had cartoony characters, and RPG build up your player like elements. That game is a classic!!!!

Both baseball stars and RBI were original NES. There was a super RBI, but that doesnt match the OPs description.

The only other SNES baseball games not mentioned are: ESPN, Frank Thomas' Big Hurt, MLBPA, Roger Clemens, Sporting News and Tecmo Super Baseball. None of them match your description.

Are you SURE it was SNES? RBI baseball for the NES comes closest.

I haven't seen the second ken griffey baseball game named, but I don't think that's it either based on the description. The first Ken Griffey game on the NES was an amazing game.

AFAIK, the first Ken Griffey baseball game came on the SNES.

I remember spending HOURS renaming all the players to their correct names...

Yeah, I've looked through every list of SNES baseball games I can find but I can't find the one I'm thinking of. 🙁 The graphics look familiar on RBI baseball (NES), but I don't think that's it. Fairly certain it was SNES.

Oh well, must have been a figment of my imagination.

Wow, I could've swore that was NES. Awesome game regardless. My brother and I played through dozens of games when we were kids. He'd always play offense, and I'd play defense. We'd just pass the controller back and forth.

I am still working on my original 162 game season on Ken Griffey Baseball. Almost all of my time with that game was against friends so I hardly had time to play the season.

I think I can remember what game you are talking about but i never had it, one of my friends did. I'm going to try to do some searching to see if I can find what I am thinking of.

ANy chance it's Dusty Diamond's All Star Softball on NES? *shrug* given the description, and it not being any others mentioned, that's only one i can think of that's like that.

Extra Innings?

Possibly. Can't find any screenshots, but while looking for some I did find an interesting diagram of a vagina. Hrmm....

I'll... determine if this one is the right one through other methods.

Edit: Yeah, that's probably it. Thanks a lot
