looking for the name of an artist

I'm looking for the name of an artist... but my google-fu is failing me.

he made some art that would look absolutely incredible as a background, so i want to find it and..such.

anyways, it's like this.

he's a french CGI artist, and made a movie not too long ago. have no idea on the plot, but the movie was made through the use of CGI and live action. (kinda similar to how "Sky Captain and the world of Tomorrow" was done.)

one of the screens i saw of his was this side of a pyramid, and it had 2 statues, one of anubis, and one of horus (i think) sticking out of it. they were like standing up, with everything below their waists being part of the pyramid.

but i cant remember the artist's name, or even the name of the movie. anyone got any clue?

That's what I'm thinking. He did a movie called "Immortal", which is pretty good (and is the movie that the OP is thinking of.)

Thanks. I was given the name in an art class of mine, but dumbass me neglected to write it down.

now to find some realllllly nice backgrounds for my new monitor ^_^

Kadarin: yeah, i kept trying different movie titles hoping i could get lucky. the name's just so formulaic i thought i'd hit it sooner or later. haha.
