Looking for the name of a band

I'm trying to put a name to this band I'm trying to find. Came out with a cd in the late 90's and played alternative/rock but with acoustic guitars. They were all popular and then suddenly disappeared off the face of the Earth.... any suggestions?

Um, you would really have to narrow it down more than a band from the 90's that used acoustic guitars and fell off the face of the Earth. There are quite a few bands that fit that description.
