I'm looking for a 60mm fan for ALPHA heatsink on my Athlon 1GHz running at 1.4GHz, I already switched from YS tech >>loud... to Sunon >> better but still too loud for me... I am looking into Sanyo or Panaflo around 26 to 28 dbi ... is that gona be quiet enough ? I am willing to get lower RPM and CFM and slightely higher temp for the silence !!
PS I don't play games with my PC at all ..
Thanks for your advice !!

Mday put it short and sweet in another post

In my opinion panaflo scores very poor in 60mm size. Sanyo Denki 109R0612H402 28db / 19cfm, is probably the way to go, and score pretty nice performance ratio, and widely available, quality above panaflo. I wouldn't recommend going be pushing it any lower cfm, since your running a hot T-bird there.

Check my webpage on fan comparisons:

(Too many ppl overhype panaflo's on these forums)

What is the cfm ratings on the YS-tech and Sunon? Since you are going to a different fan, what are you willing to take for them?

I have to check when I get home .. I returned the YS tech, now I only have a Sunon for sale when I get my Sanyo...I think I got it for $14 in a local store .. will sell it for like $8 shipped only one month old.
