Looking for the holy grail mobo...for 754

currently i have an abit kv8max3 but i've had significant problems with this thing, i am trying to figure out if theres a mobo that meets these requirements....

Runs ddr 400 in all positions.

Runs ddr 400 geil ram 1gb stick.

socket 754 for my 3000+ amd

I just reformatted, and it also needs SATA slots...not too many like..1 or 2.

SLI preferrably....

Somewhat cheap!

ALSO, i know this isn't mobo related, but i just reformatted and i keep getting these messenger pop ups..i thought i stopped them, but can someone refresh my memory on how to get rid of these things for good. thank you!
 
I lied, SLI would be overkill and i don't need overkill lol...

Edit: OH and i fixed the messenger problem so don't worry about that! Also i'm checking out this sites mobo's so this post can seriously just be ignored lol thx though.
 
DDR400 has its hard limits no matter what mainboard. Two double-sided sticks are beyond reach at full speed - gotta accept that.

I've just had absolutely positive experience with the ECS NForce4-A754. It has only two RAM slots, which actually increases your chances of running two DIMMs at a reasonable speed.
 
MSI Neo Platinum is an awesome board, great for overclocking, has great features. Can run the ram fine.. its a fabulous board and is very cheap now..
