Looking for the easiest/quickest way to automate multiple hotfixes & updates

I am trying to find a way to automate the installation of multiple hotfixes and patches for both WinXP Pro and IE.

I have looked around online and can't seem to get the batch file to work to install the Hotfixes silently. Regardless of which switches I try to set, it will popup the window and prompt for user interaction.

Anyone have any ideas?

I can supply a list of which hotfixes and IE patches if necessary.
