looking for the company that made the old Apple Cinema HD-clones

There was a company I came across a year or two ago that was making LCDs that looked like the old Apple Cinema HD Displays, the curvy kind that looked like they were wrapped in glass. I think it was Formica or something (could be totally off) but I'm having zero luck on google. Anyone know?

I am just wondering why you would want one of the old ones?

I'm saving up for a G4 Cube and want a matching LCD 🙂 It's really difficult to find those old displays; the new silver ones apparently have the same name 😛

Formac made displays similar to the Apple Cinema, but IMO, no where near as nice.

Aha! Thanks 🙂

Meh, you're right. 300:1 brightness and 1600x1200 on a 20.1". No widescreen even 😛 Plus it looks like it's more of a UK product. Ah well. This LG display looks pretty nice, anyone know what model it is?
