I'm looking for the best 19" flat CRT monitor, no matter the price (up to 1000k $ anyway) but it should not be aperture grille based.
I tought about Hitachi...What do you think about?
Thanks, help me now I'm only with an LG 795FT+ 17" monitor...a good piece of hardware but....
See ya!

md300,

So you're saying the 900NF is a POS because you saw a bad one at CompUSA? Whoa, thats convincing. If you get 900NF(not the display units), and put it aside your PF790, it'll look just as good as if not better. And I wish you can work on your grammar, and please choose your wordings more carefully, because we dont work for Samsung and dont wish to be labeled as such.

19" flat without AG? Here are your choices...

1) Hitachi CM772
2) Samsung SyncMaster 900IFT
3) NEC AccuSync 95F
4) Samsung SyncMaster 955DF

When I viewed my Samsung 900NF in PC World (UK) it was running its signal from ONE computer along with about 8 other monitors running through a splitter box. Everything about the picture was severaly degraded even the geometry (people fiddle remember, what does THIS button do?). You have to have a pretty good idea of what you are looking at before hand, I was already 90% sure I wanted the 900NF.
