I have a friend with the specs below. My question is. Would it be better for him get more of the same memory he currently has or get a slightly faster ram? He's wanting 32GB but, I'm just curious on other peoples opinions.

He is a video editor and uses those types of programs. Also play's games.

Intel Core i7 2600, Socket 1155 LGA

8GB 2 x 4GB DDR3 1600
 
It's just what he mentioned. I personally use 16GB. My main question is should he just get 2 more 4gb sticks or maybe slightly faster ddr3 ram?
