Here is where I need some help, I'm going to begin attending K-State next year to start my education in, most likely, networking. I want to "finish off" my rig over summer and need some guidance.

I have 2 motherboards in hand at the moment, 1 is the original EVGA X58 3X SLI A1 and has a low b-clock limit at around 220ish, the other board is the new Gigabyte X58A-UD3R and can go all the way up to 245 b-clock but doesn't look that great. I like to bench every once and a while and understand the Gigabyte board would be more fun, but it really doesn't look too great. The EVGA looks good and currently holds me at 4.2GHz stable 24/7 and I'm happy with that; it's taken my 920 all the way up to 4.6GHz on water.

I plan on putting either board under water along with my CPU and GPU, adding compression fittings instead of barbs, sleeving my power supply, and using the white led Xigmatek 120mm fans with the orange fins and black casing.

My questions:
  1. Is my current loop going keep up with the hardware I will be cooling?
  2. Which motherboard to choose?

Thanks in advance!:toast:

I have decided to stick with the EVGA board. Now I just need suggestions about the loop. I want to keep it single.
