The PSP has a good bit of decent rpgs.

Honestly though, there haven't been any good JRPGs this generation. The best is Valkyria Chronicles, but it isn't really the type of RPG you would seem to enjoy.

Eternal Sonata has the best combat system, but the voice acting, overload of dialogue, and pacing issues hold it back from even being recommendable (the story ends up being okay though).

Blue Dragon, Infinite Undiscovery, and Last Remnant are all very bleh.

Lost Odyssey fails to be unique in any way (besides the interesting dreams), and the story is easily predictable.

I say learn Japanese and import some games 😉

P.S. Ar Tonelico II just came out in the states, in case you've played the first one.
