looking for suggestions for margaritas

having a girl over with some other people tomorrow night at my place and i was going to make some margaritas. i haven't had one in forever and i was thinking of just picking up some hose quervo's premix.

any other suggestions? looking for an awesome margarita people.

yeah, getting some jose cuervo mix should be fine.

get some good sea salt to rim the glasses.

and lots of fresh limes

I prefer the old "shove a funnel down her throat and pour in the Everclear", but yeah, margaritas might work as well.

Ewwww, mixes are only for people who don't know any better.

2 ounces of GOOD tequila.
1/2 ounce of Cointreau, Gran Marnier or Triple Sec
2 ounces of fresh lime juice. You can substitute bottled lime juice or sweet and sour mix if necessary

Serve over ice in a glass with a salted rim. DO NOT use table salt, get real margarita salt, it's much different. Use blanco tequila only, reposado or anejo don't belong in a Margarita. And for the love of god, a margarita is not a blender drink. Adjust the ratio of triple sec to lime as your tastes dictate. I like mine on the sour side, so I use extra lime and less triple sec.
