I'm building a SFF system for a friend around the Antec Aria case he likes. The idea is for a small, portable, SFF LAN-party type setup. This is the current plan:
Antec Aria
Shuttle MN31N
Athlon XP 2700+ Barton/TBred w/retail HSF
Crucial 512MB PC2700 OR Corsair XMS 2700 512MB
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128MB
120-160GB HDD, Seagate or WD
DVD Burner
NIC
Audigy of some kind
System will probably not be overclocked or tweaked - everything should be run stock. My two concerns are that the Aria's 300W PSU won't be able to handle all of this stuff - especially if my friend feels like splurging more on the vid card, and secondly an issue of heat - I've read virtually all reviews talking about the Aria's problems with handling heat, especially if a large video card is installed - would I be better off going with Intel over AMD because of the heat issue?
Any thoughts, criticisms?
