I am in Fort Worth, TX for 10 weeks of training with my company. Anybody know of any sites to see, anything to do, any good bars, any good concert halls around the Dallas/Fort Worth area?

There is a lot to do in DFW.

In Fort Worth:
1. Visit the Fort Worth Zoo (its really good)
2. Go to Sundance Square in Downtown Ft. Worth
3. Visit the Ft. Worth Stockyards ... usual tourist place
4. The Kimball Art Museum and the Modern Museum of Art always have good exhibits.
5. Ft. Worth has awesome botanical gardens near SMU and Woodall Rogers Colleseum

In Dallas:
1. Visit the Nasher Sculpture Center (a must see!!)... awesome art collections and modern sculpture (Matisse, di Suvero, Picasso, et al.)
.. of course I may be biased; my dad is the director! Found in Dallas' Arts district.
2. Watch a game at American Airlines center. Stars and Mavericks play there. blocks away from West End
3. Barhop along Greenville Ave. (there is an upper and lower Greenville, all with bars)
4. Visit the West End near downtown Dallas... they have all sorts of cool places
5. Myerson Symphony Hall in Dallas' Arts district
6. Go to Lake Lewisville and rent a boat (weather permitting).
7. Deep Ellum... alot of rock clubs, as well as tatoo and piercing parlors
8. Reunion Tower the lollipop shaped bldg has a revolving restaurant on top

In Arlington:
1. Ameriquest Field usually has Rangers game for cheap
2. Six Flags Amusement park is really cool... ride the Titan and Texas Giant
3. Six Flags Hurricane Harbor water park (weather permitting)

In Grand Prairie:
1. Visit the Lonestar Park for horseraces

PM me for some restaurant and other recommendation and questions... I only grew up there!

Be sure to drive around south Dallas after midnight. If you like Fort Worth, go hang around eastside, especially "stop six" or "como" in the west side. Be sure to bring body armor.

Heres a nice map.
