Me and a buddy have been playing starcraft a lot and I figured I would try to find some cheats... someone told be about trainers, so I downloaded some and they didnt really work. Well, one did but then caused a fatal error everytime i used it..

I searched the internet for about an hour and found very little (lots of bad sites out there :disgust: )...

Anyway I am just looking for a way to cheat in multiplayer so that me and my friend can play like 4 computers and not get swamped..

So if anyone HAS or knows of anyway to do this, please let me know...

Thanks

Dude, you can pwn the computer so easily without a trainer. With all the work you've put into finding a good one you've wasted time you could be getting better at the game. Just play some BGH and cannon out the map, then go for air. Works like a charm every time, you can pwn 6 computers in less than an hour that way.

Trust me, a good trainer is gonna be hard to find. Even back when StarCraft was really popular originally there weren't a whole lot of them that you could just "find" on the internet. You can't suck that bad at SC that you and your friend can't take out 6 comps, trust me. And if you do, a trainer is not the way to go. I'm not trying to be Mr. Morals here, because I've cheated in games before, but StarCraft is one of the ones that I never cheated in unless I was messing around and then I only used the in-game cheats.

simple strats? be terran, wall yourself in with supply depots but leave a hole in the middle and build a barracks. now you have a drawbridge!
fly it up and let your troops out when you need to, or land it and close the entrance. behind buildings but bunkers with marines, and a bunch of
siege tanks behind that. Then go air. ... nothing will get through, at least not from the computer

You've got balls to ask for multiplayer cheats. You better leave your porchlight on tonight.

Seriously though, cheating is not the way to go. Just you and your buddy take on 2 cpus and work your way up to 3. It will make you decent. If you want to be good play online and you'll have to step it up a notch when you get Carrier swarmed.

Multiplayer + cheating = teh devil.

I dont care if you singleplayer cheat your way trough every single game, but multiplayer cheats are a work of the devil himself (not that i'm the religious type, but if there's a devil, he's making spyware, spam, and multiplayer cheats)

it does not matter that your friend would agree to use a multiplayer cheat, multiplayer cheating is simply not done.

PS: and if it's done offenders should be shot.

That doesn't matter, if it works in multiplayer, it can work online, and therefore is bad. Do you trust them that they would only use it against the computer?

good one.

Its okay guys. I was just wondering if I could cheat in muyltiplayer with my friend vs a bunch of computers, NOT THE INTERNET. I understand why that is very uncool and i know the programmers go to great lengths to prevent such.

I figured I would just ask. but I am getting pretty good now, and I DO like a challenge. Cheating isnt really that fun....

I just wanted a ton of minerals and gas right away so I can stand a chance against those dang Protoss's.. always attacking so early before I can even get my machine factory up.

Nevertheless, I will practice.

THANK YOU ANANDTECHERS

Why don't you just make a custom map to your advantage? That's a legit way to cheat the computer.

If you're terran and trying to defend against the protoss rush do this:

1. Get 2 barracks up first thing
2. Get at least 1 bunker up
3. Get a few medics and a few firebats
4. When the protoss attacks your bunkers start repairing them with your scvs.

Ignore all that if you aren't playing terran.

But you and your friend have the advantage of teamwork whereas the 2cpus only slightly work together. You could try something different if your friend covers you.
