Looking for specific audio program

Trying to find a program such as Soundman that will allow me to adjust bass and other audio through my laptop. I really like soundman but that probably only works with the AC97 codec only? The speakers and subwoofer I have now does not give me enough subwoofer and I want it to adjust everything that comes through the speakers not just through media player.


Any ideas appreciated

Also if you use Windows audio volume control, there is an advanced setting for bass/treble that you may be able to use... Open Sound in Control Panel, then on fist page "Volume" click Advanced, then next page click on Advanced again. There is bass/treble control...
