Looking for speakers for a Zone 2 setup...

I have a Pioneer 1120-k receiver that I'd like to try and get a Zone 2 setup working with it. It would be so the wife could listen to music in our bedroom without having to crank up the main system to ear-blowing levels. 😛 Most of the time the source would be the same for both outputs.

What are some decent wireless setups for this? I would need something that provides the receiver/transmitter and also the speakers or be able to power speakers I buy. Nothing too loud, just enough to fill a medium bedroom.

Price range $100-$200.

I've seen those RocketFish things at Best Buy... would that work for my needs?

Wouldn't it be easier for her to listen to what she wants on the bedroom sound setup without the wireless tie?

I think I'd just get something like a squeezbox boom and call it a day. Stream pandora or slacker to that and not worry about extra equipment.

Ah, squeezebox is an interesting idea... I could get the Squeezebox duet and hook it up to my stereo and also different boxes around the house and it would control all of them - if I'm reading it correctly. Sounds cool.

Yes, but with the duet it's not an amplifier. You still need to power your speakers in another room. It's just a bridge product that streams music to a source.

A squeezebox boom is a full functioning stereo system that requires no additional hardware.
