Looking for Speaker Recomendation

I am looking for a new set of speakers for my computer. I have heard a lot of good things about the Klipsch promedia line, but was wondering if anyone out there would recomend something different. My price range is under $500.

Thanks

I've got a set of LabTec Pulse 424 two satellites and a nice wooden box subwoofer, it's not the most expensive set but it's the best $40 I've ever spent. The speakers are solid and don't take up much space on the desk either. They sound a lot better than my home stereo equipment.

But these are probably not what you are wanting.

No sorry, Video Logic's high end stuff hands Klipsch their ass in both loudness and more importantly accuracy.

The DigiTheatre DTS or Sirocco Crossfires are the speakers you will want.

Though with that kind of cash I'd look at a real reciever and some HT loud speakers if you have the space.

The only way to know is do do some real side by side testing and see what YOU think sounds best. The only problem I am having is that one place sells this and the other sells that. I will be buying the Klipsch 5.1's as soon as I can. I have some 23+ year old Klipsch speakers on my sterro and have NEVER had a problem with them.

Just my $.02
