Looking for something like KillZone

so killzone is not on the PC?

what games are like killzone. I'm looking for a type of game as close to killzone as possible for the PC.

It's a pretty standard FPS.

killzone seemed pretty generic to me, too. go play half-life 2 if you havn't already.

You need to be *way* more specific OP. I take it you like the game. What is it you are looking for or what is it that makes you enjoy the game? I've personally never played it. But is it a shooter on rails? Is it the dreary burnt out environments? Is it the "resistance" vs. some type of government gone awry or alien race perhaps? You can surely get some more recommendations.

Perhaps Killzone 2? 😛

Ok, I just read some reviews/summary and this has got to be the biggest linear/on rails shooter I've ever seen. Is it the story, the Sci-fi, the environments and atmosphere?

Multiplayer. It's up there with CoD 4 and TF2, IMO (then again, it feels like a combination of the two in many ways). Not to mention it's gorgeous. SP campaign is about as good as the better FPS games out there (meaning not fantastic).

But...on the PC? Nothing really close...Like I said, it feels like a mix of Call of Duty 4 and Team Fortress 2. Maybe Crysis if you want to match up graphically.

Just buy a PS3. 😛

Oh god don't buy Painkiller. My $20 could have been better spent on 3 delicious Subway sandwiches. woe is me. 🙁

Looking at IGN's review of this game, it looks like a Call of Duty game. Maybe COD 5: World at War would be something to try.
