Here is what I am tiring to do:
I would like to use a 172mmx52mm DC fan at the front or top of the Case. Then I want to use 3 inch clear vinyl ducting and channel the air to the processor. This would put around 230+cfm on the processor. I would use a fan controller to control noise and cfm.

Here is what I need help making:

1) fitting to attach to a 173mm fan and then reduce to a 3" fitting so that I can attach ducting
2) fitting to attach to a 80mm heatsink (Swiftech MCX462+) and it have 90 degree 3" fitting so that I can attach ducting

I would like the fittings to be nice finish if possible, this is going to be in a case with a window. If you can do it let me know how much$$$$.

Thanks,

Call your AC repair guy, they cut holes in sheetmetal all the time.

My A/C guy took 5 mins. to cut a 92cm fan hole in my case .

Super Easy when you have the right tools.

Regards,
Jose
