Looking for some projector help...

I have an Infocus SP4805 that the bulb recently went out in. I received a new bulb replacement for it for Christmas, and anxiously installed it. Once installed, the projector will turn on for no more than 5 or 10 minutes before shutting back off. The light on the top will flash red when turned off.

It worked just fine before the old bulb went out, but now it almost seems as if the cooling fans aren't cooling enough. I'm 99.9% sure that it's turning off due to overheating. The fan's will turn on, but they don't seem to move as much air as they used to.

If anyone has any suggestions or links or anything at all, they would greatly be appreciated as we miss watching TV and movies lol

Thanks!!

What's the pattern when the light is flashing?

From a quick google search:

"Flashes red with 1 sec intervals - either the lump has burned out(We can rule this one in this case) or the lamps cover is open (try checking the cover's sensor)

Flashes red with 2 sec intervals - an internal problem, I'd suggest contacting Epson's support."

There are quite a few results for "SP4805 flashing red" - most seem to indicate bad bulb or possible bad projector.
