i think im on the right track, but i dont like how the icons are looking. i guese i need a fresh perspective. thanks for any help

well, i made some more changes and updated the pic in my op. i think im getting there, but would still like some advice: logos to add, move, delete, etc.

While the background is nice and all. It just isnt conducive to what you are attempting.

The cut-and-pasting photochopping is really bad... learn to use feathering, matte defringing, and the selection double-delete trick.

Basically employ the techniques I listed... look up some tutorials if you're unfamiliar.
