After doing some research at head-fi.org, I came to the conclusion that my Sportapros are no longer adequate for my audio needs :p So what I'm looking for now is something that gives a semblance of a soundstage, yet is still under $80. From my experience, the Sennheiser px200's are decent, but still lacking in the 3d feel. Now I'm not quite as hardcore as your typical audiophile, but something with a generally warm response across the entire spectrum would be great.

One of the ways that ignorance is bliss. I haven't listened to a good pair of earphones in years, so my $20 I use to listen to music seem fine for me :)

I have the Senn. HD 280 pros and the Sony V6s. I love the Senn. for home listening on my computer. The sony V6s match up good with my iRiver H120. As far as soundstage, the Senn.'s have a bigger one.

Crap. Absolute crap.

At $80 you could be looking at Grado SR-80's, do you have an amp?

yeah, it's pretty well known that the zalman surround headphones totally suck.

Don't know what cmoy is, but you can definitely build your own headphone amp with a small budget.

exactly.
"Give me a man with unfaltered (misspelled) dream, I will give you a happy man."
I forgot who said that , but I heard it in one of my English class.

anyways, for something under 80. Grados SR60 or Sennheiser HD497 or HD495 (if you can still find them)
