I have been helping my girlfriend buy her first condo. The original listing states that the condo comes with brand new LG appliances (fridge, oven, washer, dryer), and that was what was found when we conducted the first inspection. Today, we run over our final inspection and noticed that the new appliances have been swapped for some much older and rusted ones.

When we ran the issue to the real estate agent, he threw a dump on us stating that no specific models numbers were specified for the appliances in the contract, even tho the listing says otherwise with pictures to back the claim up.

Now his stance is either take it or leave it. Now I know there are some dirty rotten scumbags out there, but is there any legal action that can be taken here?

Leave it and demand a refund of any earnest money and reimbursement of any expenses specific to this purchase.

look up your local bait & switch / false advertising laws.

plus... if your lease says "new LG" .. you could also have grounds for breach of contract as well.
