hello. having some trouble with a current build. i am trying to re-install my 4870x2 back in to my cooler master Cosmo after a CPU/Mother board switch. i replaced my old board with the Asus ROG Masimus III and now the 4870 x2 will sit flush with my case. the video card bracket skewed off center. if i push the card enough i can get get tightened down, but this seem like an extreme to me. the card seems to be twisted/bent after the forceful maneuvering. what can i do to make the card sit flush with the case or can i just leave it there unscrewed?

Depends how forceful you're talking about. If you're gonna bend it like beckham, then no, don't do that. Mine doesn't line up 100% either, but I only need to move it about 1 mm....

it is only a 1 to 2 mm ajar, but its enough to make screwing the bracket total pain and nearly impossible. neither thumb screw goes in smoothly or in at all. i am just concerned about the card starting to rise out of its slot due to the cramping forward i had to do to screw it down.

Mines was just a slight shove, so it wasn't a pain. But if yours seems like it is, I'm not sure that's such a good idea :O. Pics would help a lot.
