Looking for software to 'map' out home network

Lil'John

Senior member
I am looking for software to help 'map' out my home network.

I'm hoping to be able to show IP addresses for machines(desktop, laptop, rackmount) plus networking equipment(routers, switches, hubs, etc)

Any thoughts? I was tinkering with Visio but didn't care for it much. Is there something better?

Or get this - https://www.softperfect.com/products/networkscanner/

Netscan will provide you with all the Technical Info of your Network. Then if you want Visual, use Visio or similar simple freeware to draw the Visual part and add to it the info from Netscan.

This is free - Go here http://meesoft.logicnet.dk/ Click on Diagram Designer Download and install.http://meesoft.logicnet.dk/DiagramDesigner/
