I work for an architectural firm that has a lot of employee traveling taking place. Each week there are 5 to 20 people traveling around the US and to Europe. We have an administrative assistant who tries to keep up with it but she is overwhelmed. We have travel agents that take care of complicated trips but she does the shorter, less complicated trips. Is there any software out there set up primarily to help with this type of thing?
We are on an exchange server and use Outlook with the shared calendar functionality. I'm not sure if there is something that can work in conjunction with exchange and outlook. I'm sure someone could create their own templates in Excel or Access or some other program to help do this but I'm looking for something already set up. It would be nice if the software could create .html reports that could be placed on our intranet so people could go to one place to see all trips coming up, who's going and if everything's set up for their trip.
Maybe I'm reaching here...but she is getting upset at us each time we make changes (which happens a lot) and it's probably because she has a hard time managing so much travel info at once.
