Looking for shelving for my living room

So I had a shelving system (IKEA, duh) all planned out, went down there this past weekend only to find that it was discontinued, and they don't really have anything comparable. This is what I had picked out.

Anybody have any tips on where to find something similar? A couple things that I specifically need:

-has to be open on the bottom (AC registers in the floor)
-a corner piece would be nice (going along two adjacent walls)
-a modular deal with lots of options (drawers, cabinets, etc.)
-$$$ not out of this world (what I picked out was going to cover @15 linear ft for @$1K)

The color? The stuff I had lined up is in a wood veneer. Looks fine.

The layout. It looks like something you would use in a garage to store paints and tools, not the living room.

The layout is fine for me. I already have this setup for the media stuff, and I'm satisfied. All that is besides the point, since you can't get it.
