Well I have did alot of looking but haven't found one yet. I know that the Xaser III V1000A is the same as Enermax CS-10181 or the CS-10182 these of course come with different front covers than the Thermaltakes. They are also steel and wieght like a ton(43lbs or something like that). The Xaser III V2000A is the all aluminum version I just find it hard to believe that some other company doesn't sell the all aluminum version under their name. I found these case are also under the CaseTek name and the Casetek's well atleast here(CK-1018) are only missing the inner-side-2-fan-plasitc-fan-holder-ma-jig no big deal since I plan on making my own side window and I can just add my own.
Ok now here is the real question this CaseTek CK-1019 from the pics it looks to me to be all aluminum compared to the pics of all the others. I'm not a fan of the color but if it is all aluminum I would be all on top of it.
Oh yeah and compared to the prices of these with the thermaltakes they are the bomb Casetek one $50 and that is with the window! The Evermax $66 no windows but has the extra side fan holder. And that is more than $100-200 in savings compared with the Xaser III's. They look alot less wild(or what ever you call it) on the front although I like the fronts of the Xaser III's cause they are all aluminum and the fronts of these others are flimsy plastic.
Should I just try to call the dealers or manufactors to get more info on if that one CaseTek is all aluminum? What to do? Anyone else know another brand for these cases? Does anyone else think it makes all that big of a difference if it is all aluminum or not?
