Looking for suggestions for a router $50-75 range. Doesn't need to be anything special. One that's a simple plug and work!

The right Wireless Router is Not a matter of special.

Variables like the Speed of the Network/Internet and Wireless client capabilities are important to take into consideration.

Do you have wired giga components?

What type of Wireless level your client device are capable?

So... you need a Good Router that Does Giga and N.

I would go with http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16833162070

It adds Dual band and USB port for Network storage.

If you search you might find for few $$ a Giga Router that is Not Dual Band (Like this - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833162069 ).

However with the increase demand to Wireless and streaming sooner or later many people find themselves in a situation that they need Dual Band.

All Router are simple plug in to work if you have a standard Network.

Hardship starts when the Network is Not totally standard (most common when the Internet Modem is actually Modem/Router). In reality people that are not Network savvy do not even know if the Network is Not standard. Unfortunately Network devices do not come with small speakers that announce every few minutes "Hey I am Not standard. ;)
