I work for a small startup company in Seattle, and we're in the process of switching offices from a small third floor townhouse to a ground-level apartment. The office we're moving to has two windows, both sliding, one is 4'9" (W) x 4'9.5" (H), the other is 4'9.5" x 4'9.5"; there is a floor (door frame is wood, body is glass), 3'5" (W) x 7'10" (H), and a pair of doors that swing open, 5'9" (w) x 7'10" (H).

We need some sort of grating over the access points, as we will have a great deal of computing and business furniture in the apartment, and we're rather not have to rely solely on the alarm system as a deterrent. We were looking for some sort of gratings/screens that would roll down when necessary, and that would easily roll up during the day. Ideally they'd have some sort of track on either side for stability and would latch into a clasp in the floor (or two).

Does anyone know of a company that would make these sorts of products?

Thanks!
Nate

My dads building has bars over all the windows and a garage door like thing over the main doors, it has an access code that you type in and it rolls up. I can ask him where he got it tomorrow if your still interested.

That would probably be something a local garage door dealer would have, especially if you are looking for a roll-up door. Give them a call and see if they can give you an estimate.
