Looking for recommendations on PSU's to run with a MSI K8N Neo Platinum

Hi, i just bought a MIS K8N Neo4 SLI Platinum for my new computer. i only recently noticed/realized, became ware that it requires a -5 connenction/pin to work properly. I guess the -5 is need or the on boards sound doesn't work right or at all. does anyone know of any PSU's that have the -5 and are SLI ready/deemed worthy etc. i've seen some PSU's labeld as "SLI" ready, is there really a difference, or just another marketing/advertising gizmo. i've had trouble finding a PSU that is both SLI ready and -5 compatible. any tips and suggestions would be apperciated.

well I think the sli ones have "two" pci-express auxilary power connectors instead of one.

the antec 550 truepower is your cheapest solution of you do not mind all the mangled wires.

i really love the antec neo power supplies with the removeable cables -- makes everything MUCH neater and they are all sleeved right out of the box. plus you can just leave out the cables you do not use. since i do not use a floppy and use only one optical drive that saves me a lot of mess.

However, I think it only has "one" pci-express auxilary power connector so it is not a true sli power connected. unless the cards you are running do not require auxily power -- then you would be fine with any power supply as long as it has enough juice (which this one obviously does).

Well the cheapest and best is the Ultra power supplies i have been using it since my socket 754. I have same motherboard you are talking about MSI K8N NEO4 PLATINUM SLI and it works perfectly with it. It is super quite and excellent powersupply i ever bought, and you can buy 500watts ultra for as cheap as $15 after rebates from outpost.com
