Looking for recommendations on ~1k gaming machine.

Looking for recommendations on a gaming machine that I can hook up with my existing machine. Anyone know good combos in this price range? Would like 800mhz, 128meg ram, 20 gig+ HD Geforce type card (mx?) 17" monitor, decent sound, no modem, network card to hook up with my computer , cdrom.

personally i would get around a 700 mhz thunderbird and overclock it the FSB and use DDR ram. i wouldn't skimp on the vid card though. i would sacrifice other areas if neccessary to have the top of the line vid card.

Actually for $200 you can get a 900Mhz Tbird
