Looking for recommendations for a case for new Droid Bionic?

Wife just decided on this phone today...her first smart phone...it was between that and the Droid Charge (Verison)...

I don't know much about the phone but I told her to hold off on getting a case that they sell in the store ( I thought they were too much )

They were offering a plain Jane case and screen covers (3 of them) for a total of 55 dollars (30 for the case and 24 for the screen covers)...

I am hoping someone here will recommend me a good case or at least a site online that is pretty reasonable for accessories...

I am going to be getting her a case, screen covers and a car charger off the bat...


Any help is appreciated.

Is it actually coming out in a week? FUDGE!

her phone broke so the screen was unreadable...and she wanted a new phone like LAST week...

I was looking at the Nexus specs but that had no release date...

Can anyone give me a brief pro / con for the nexus vs. Razr?
 
The biggest advantages of the RAZR over the Bionic are that the RAZR is super thin, has better construction/materials, and has a Super AMOLED Enhanced screen instead of the pentile on the Bionic.
 
If she just got it she has 14 days to return it for a full refund.

My Bionic is nice but there are alot of glitches.. waiting till Android Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS)

I wish I would have known...she is in kind of a pinch with the previous phone breaking...

I read just now that the Razr would be upgraded to the new OS last a later point in time.

Any word on when the Nexus would be coming out? Is it this month?

hopefully but all bets are off at this pioint
all VZW has said is that it will come in 2011

the nexus launches on nov 17th in europe

sorry I am not up on the release points of phones...do they generally release overseas first before they hit the US?

I think it depends on the manufacturer, but since most of the manufacturers are overseas, and because the US carriers are assholes when it comes to locking down and customizing the phones--yes, they generally release overseas first.

--But this would surprise me with Nexus, despite it being Samsung. I would think that it also being a Google phone, and Verizon almost confirmed to not have it locked and bloated, it would be available in the US on first release?
 
My gut would tell me you would at least see it on their website (Verizon) which I don't or a listing that says when you could pre-order it...which I also don't...

Hope it does release soon...I want a new phone too 🙂
