I am in the market for a S754 micro ATX motherboard. The main purpose of this board is for a gaming/LAN rig and will be housed in an Antec Aria cube case. I am looking for recommendations on which board I should get. I would like the board to have the following options:

1.) SATA on board.
2.) On board Firewire...my case has a front firewire connector.
3.) No video on board. This is not a deal breaker but don't need it.
4.) nVidia chipset if at all possible. I have found one from Aopen but have never had one from them and the board didn't have internal firewire or SATA.

Let me know if you have any ideas on what I could get that would meet my criteria.

Thanks,

Mike

First of all, does it have to be in an Aria? (have you already got that?)
because you could just buy a barebones SFF system from Shuttle or Soltek or something, which would be probably a little easier.

if you haven't already gotten the case, that's what I'd do.... but if you have, I can't help, as I don't know of any mATX S754 boards.

good luck :)

mATX s754 are not very common with the nForce3-250Gb chipset (I haven't seen one for sale yet), but there is a mATX nForce4 board from Foxconn available. It meets all your requirements, except for the socket.

You will find several mATX 754 boards with the VIA K8T800/K8M800 and SiS755/760GX chipsets. The DFI K8M800-MLVF has all the features you want (except that it's not nVidia and has onboard video).

Thanks for the advise guys but I already have the case and the chip so I am kind of pigeon-holed.
