Looking for real triple monitor setup info

Is anyone aware of a site that can offer some real triple monitor setup information that cuts through all the crap. Do this and here's why; don't do this and here's why? I am considering going triple monitor for my gaming, but I have read so much contradictory information I am beginning to wonder if a triple monitor setup is really feasible or if it is one of those things where you spend more time getting the game to work than you do actually playing the game.

Also, any reason why it seems most triple monitor setups are using 16:9 monitors? My gaming pc doubles as my work pc and as such I prefer the 16:10 for that extra little bit of vert. Is triple monitor gaming doable on 3 x 16:10's?

Thanks,

You probably want these guys http://www.wsgf.org/

Personally, I have a 3x 1080p setup running on a Sapphire 2gb 6950. I would have liked 16x10s but I've found those monitors unnecessarily expensive, I was able to get my displays for $99 each.

I'm not sure how Nvidia handles it now, but in Eyefinity the drivers create one large display that Windows sees (for me 5760x1080). This can cause some oddities that I've found, like you can't maximize desktop windows because they'll take up all 3 screens. I think there's a way around it with profiles but I haven't had the desire to dive into that.

Also games that don't support those resolutions will just duplicate the game on each display.

For me, its totally worth it for the games that do support it, its just too much fun having that much real estate to play on.
