Ordered it last year, PSU was DOA so I tossed the only one I could find locally in since I was pressed for time. I forgot to contact Lian Li about RMA'ing it, I'm sure it's out of warranty. I'm looking for a new PSU for it. The one I bought is a no name, and the fan's on top. The top panel just about touches the top of the PSU so the fan doesn't have any room to do much. It's loud as hell, I know SFX PSU's are going to be a lot more noisy than ATX. But I'm thinking it's even louder due to the lack of space. I'd like a quiet(er) PSU that fits in it, price isn't a concern. The current one is loud to the point it's annoying.

I don't expect silent, what would be a good option here?

There are two SFF power supplies readily available, the Seasonic SS-350SFE and the Silverstone 450 watt, ST45SF and ST45SF-G (MODULAR).

Seasonic is a little less (around $55?) but is OEM (BARE POWER SUPPLY, no cord screws or ATX adapter plate.
Silverstone is about $65 and $95.

Silverstone is supposed to be slightly the more quiet of the two, but did suffer some issues supposed to be cured. I bought one a few months ago which is fine.

Be Quiet makes one, have not seen it available in USA.

That case uses an SFX power supply. Stock Lian Li unit is a 300W made by FSP. It is the same as the 300W Silverstone.

Check the purchase date. Lian Li covers it with a 1 year warranty.

I would actually recommend getting another 300W FSP/Silverstone because the fan is flush and would give it enough room to breathe. The ones like the 300W Seasonic has a protruding fan which will starve it of air inside that case. The 350W Seasonic has a 60mm fan at one end so it can work as well, but it is likely a bit overkill and the fan won't get as quiet as the 80mm fans.

FWIW I own a 350W and multiple 300W Seasonic SFX PSUs, plus have used several of the FSP/Silverstone 300W and 450W SFX PSUs.

I found 3 different FSP models, the one that came with it the fan was on the rear of the PSU, all these it's on the top. Will that make a difference? There's like 2mm of space between the top panel and the top of a PSU.

Really? Pics show the "normal" FSP units with fan towards side panel.
